Get Started with Onyx One

A short overview of how to register, qualify and get your employees qualified and on site

Onyx One is a contractor management system. It’s the SaaS solution for organizing and monitoring client-contractor relationships.

Step 1: Register using the registration link

  • The client or the main contractor will invite the person who will take care of the administration in Onyx One to register

  • The person that registers will have the administrator rights in Onyx One

  • When clicking on the link, you will be asked to create a personal profile and personal account first. After which the administrator will be able to register the company

Step 2: Complete & submit Company Qualification

Step 3: Complete Personal Qualification of employees

  • Go to "My Team" => "Add new user"

  • Onyx One will ask you to complete the Personal Qualification

  • Only add people to your team who are on the company payroll

  • Only people that go onsite and people who manage Onyx One need to be in the team

  • When the employees don't have an e-mail, leave the e-mail address empty at the creation of the account => login data will then automatically be sent to the administrator

Step 4: Jobs

  • Jobs are created by the client, or delegated to your company by your main contractor, after your company qualification is approved

  • As an administrator or manager linked to a client, you will receive an email notifying you that a job has been created for your company

  • As a main contractor you need to delegate jobs to your subcontractor(s)

Step 5: Entries

Step 6: Complete safety training in advance

Some trainings or modules cannot be completed in advance and have to be followed at the client site.

  • An employee is automatically enrolled in a training course after being assigned to a job

  • Your employee can start the training by clicking on the "start module" button

  • The employee does not have a login?

    • reset the login details => 'My Team’, click on the cogwheel and click 'Renew user password'

    • or use the forgot password functionality on the login page of Onyx One

Step 7: Tips & Tricks

  • In Onyx One, client and contractor can communicate via the text field in the company or personal qualification

  • Customize Language: click on your name, at the right top of the page and go to "My Account"

  • Returning to the dashboard: click on the OnyxOne logo

  • View & columns: at the left top on each screen, you have the option to (in)activate the number of visible columns and adjust the number of visible records

  • Ask Ally: ask your question to Ally, our digital support assistant, by clicking on the Ally button located at the bottom right of your screen. If Ally can't provide an immediate answer, you'll have the option to create a support ticket by pressing the 'Connect to an agent' button. Our team will promptly attend to your query
