Troubleshooting common technical issues

If you experience any technical difficulties while using Onyx One, here are some common issues and solutions to help you resolve them quickly.

Updated over a month ago

Browser compatibility

Seeing an Error 404?
Onyx One works best with Google Chrome. If you're using a different browser, we recommend switching to Chrome for the best experience.
Already using Chrome but you are still having issues? Ensure you're running the latest version by checking for updates.

Pop-up blocker issues

Some forms in Onyx One open automatically in an extra tab. If you have a pop-up blocker enabled, these tabs may not open automatically.
To allow pop-ups for Onyx One:

  1. Go to the page where pop-ups are blocked.

  2. In the address bar, click the Pop-up blocked symbol.

  3. Click the link for the pop-up you want to check.

  4. To always allow pop-ups for the site, select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from [site] > Done.

Clearing cookies & cache

Having trouble refreshing a page or uploading documents? Clearing your browser's cookies and cache may help:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, select Delete browsing data.

  3. At the top, next to "Time range," select the dropdown.

  4. Choose a time period, such as the last hour or the last day.

  5. Marck the checkbox for Cookies and other site data and the checkbox for Cached images and files.

  6. Unmark the checkbox for Browsing history.

  7. Select Delete data.

Hard refresh page

A hard refresh clears your browser cache for a specific page, which forces it to load the most recent version of that page.

  • To do a hard refresh on Google Chrome on Mac, there are two ways that you can do it: Hold down Shift and click the Reload button. Or Hold down Command, Shift and click the 'R' key.

  • To hard refresh on Google Chrome on Windows, there are two ways you can do it: Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button. Or Hold down Ctrl and press F5.
